Kampong Speu Getting a New Cement Factory Soon

KAMPONG SPEU: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, said that in the future, Kampong Speu province will have a cement factory that can produce about two million tons per year to accommodate supply demands in the country.

Speaking at a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Speu province on the morning of June 17, the PM noted that Kampot province currently has a cement factory that can supply more than nine million tons per year. Cambodia’s construction industry is growing, however and production needs continue to increase. He said the main concrete demands are,"Through the construction of buildings, and especially now there is the construction of roads.”
